The Hawaii Republican Party is recognized by the Republican National Committee as representing the national Republican Party in Hawaii. The Party is an association of voters united to promote these common goals:
- Greater individual freedom!
Respect for the United States Constitution which guarantees limited government and guarantees the protection of the people and their rights.
More effective participation of the people in the government of the State of Hawaii and the United State of America.
The Party supports candidates for public office who will carry out these goals while representing the people of the state of Hawaii.
The East Hawaii County Republican Party is the official committee of the Hawaii Republican Party for the eastern side of the Big Island of Hawaii, encompassing Hawaii State House Districts 1,2,3,4 and eastern 5 (Volcano). Districts and Precincts are how the State and County divide up the population by their density. This gives each District and Precinct about the same number of people. The larger Districts are less densely populated.
